Introduction

I’m Alan Soong (facilitator), an academic developer at the Centre for Development of Teaching & Learning, National University of Singapore. I teach courses on blended learning, education grant writing and other topics such authentic learning environments and module design. My research focuses on academic development, online learning in higher education, mentoring and living-learning communities. I’ve served on the executive committee of the Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education (ASCILITE) from 2012 till 2019. Currently serving as a facilitator in the Open Networked Learning (ONL) course since 2018. Hobbies: Gym, tennis, acrylic painting, choral singing and piano.
